The last touring elephant in Britain has been banned from appearing at a circus after objections by animal welfare campaigners.
Anne was scheduled to appear at the Bobby Roberts Super Circus in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, during its six-day run which began yesterday.

The Cure will begin their headlining tour of North America
Starting mid September of this year, British group The Cure will begin their headlining tour of North America.
Out of the 20 dates spanning a little over four weeks, the tour has three Canadian dates scheduled: Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. The opening act for both the American and Canadian dates will be 65 Days of Static.
